With a rockin' mixture of popular folk songs interspersed with foot-stomping English and Irish jigs 'n' reels we are:
Steve Ruffe - lead vocals, guitar, harmonica
Chloe Watson - fiddle, harmonies
Baz Bix - percussion, guitar, crooning
Steve's solo career has certainly made an impression on North Devon. His 'folk with attitude' performances are energetic; his material covers tributes to Cult Folk Rockers and can't-help-sing-along parodies. As a songwriter, an increasing amount of his own material is included in the set, recently joined by Chloe and Baz.
Chloe has been playing the violin since the age of five. Classically trained, and after winning a scholarship at the Trinity College of Music, London, she has recently discovered folk fiddle and has now been a regular on the local folk scene since her move to North Devon three years ago.
Baz's musicianship has developed into a wonderfully vibrant percussive and innovative art form. Born from the infuriating tapping on his mother's kitchen table, his playing is an essential focus of the bands rhythmic pulse.
